FESTIVE GREETINGS FOR THE YEAR 2023 - 2024

I greet you in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ, I always give thanks to my God for you because of the grace He has given you through Christ Jesus for in union with Christ you have become rich in all the areas of your lives including all speech and all knowledge. The message about Christ has become so firmly established in you that you have not failed to receive a single blessing as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

DIVISION IN THE CHURCH

By the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ I appeal to all of you my officers, brothers and sisters to agree in what you say, so that there will be no division among you — Be completely united with only one thought one purpose. Let it be not amongst you the teaching of another gospel that was not taught by the previous Apostles and solnething that is against Christ Jesus.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

The name "Jesus" is from the Greek (and Latin) for the Hebrew Yeshua or Joshua, which means the Lord is salvation. Christ is from the Greek (Christos) for the Hebrew Meshiah or the Messiah meaning anointed one. Son of David was a highly popular Messianic title of the times. My fellow brothers and sisters let us all be in one mind in Christ Jesus by doing what He is teaching us, let us be the searchers of the past the time before we were born and all the way back to the time when God created humanity on the earth, for all and examples read Genesis chapter 11: 1 where it reads "and the whole earth was ofone language and one speech".

FEMININE

The word fenlinine is singular indicating clearly that Jesus was born of Mary only and not of Mary and Joseph. It is one of the strongest evidence for Jesus virgin birth. Joseph and Mary were not yet married, so sacred was the year of engagement or betrothal they were by customs considered as if married. Jesus siblings were half brothers and sisters since Mary had no sexual relations with Joseph until after Jesus birth.

BETHELHEM

The town is (8km) south of Jerusalem. Herod the king, this was Herod the great whose family though nominally Jewish was in reality Edomite. He was king with Romania help from 37 to 4 BC. He built the Temple in Jerusalem that Christ knew which I believe is the same church which He said He was going to demolish and build in three days.

WISEMEN

These magi from the East were expert in the study of the stars. Tradition says that there were three and that they were l<ings. These wise men brought gold, frankincense and myrrh. These were gifts worthy of a King. The early church fathers understood the gold to be symbolic of Christ deity, the frankincense of His purity and the myrrh of His death (since it was used for embalming).

ARCHELAUS

Archelaus the son of Herod the great divided his Kingdom among his sons, Archelaus (Judah and Samaria). Antipas (Galilee and Perea) and Philip (Ne Palisten) Archelaus was a bloody king and worse in the eyes of Rome and ineffective. He was removed by Caesar Augustus in (A D6 and banished to Gaul).

HESHALLBEßALLE NAZARENE

Based on the sense of several OT (Old Testament) prophecies (notice the plural Prophets) Nazarene is probably a synonym for contemptible or 'despised' since Nazareth was a unlikely places for the residence of the Messiah (cflsaiah 53: 3 and Ps 22: 6).

REPNTLREPENTANCE

Repentance is a change of mind that bears fruit in a changed life and bring to us the Kingdom of God within us. This is the rule of Heaven over the Earth. The Jewish people of Christ's day were looking for this Messianic or Davidic Kingdom to be established on this earth and this is what John proclaimed as being at hand as being "at hand". The requirement that the people must repent in order for the kingdom to be established was new and became a stumbling block to them. The rejection of Christ by the people delayed its establishment until the second coming of Christ. The character of the kingdom today is described in the parables of Matt 13: 52

BAPTISM OF WATER

Baptism is a form of identification. John's baptisin was a sign of an individual's acknowledgement of his need of repentance for the remission of his sins. When Jesus was baptized by John He Identified Himself with John's message of righteousness (trough being sinless he himself needed no Cleansing froln sin). The baptism with the Holy Spirit predicted here identifies member of the body of Christ with Christ the risen Head of that body. Christ baptism is identification with the Christian message and the Christian group and with fire. Probably a reference to the judgments associated with the return of Christ. A woodened shovel used for tossing grain against the wind after threshing so that the lighter chaff would be blown away leaving the kernels to settle in a pile Jesus fulfilled all the righteous requirement to be Israel's Messiah also by allowing John to baptize Him. He identified Himself with sinners whom he came to save though of course, He Himself had no sins to repent of. This is the first clear expression of the Concept of the Trinity. The decent of the spirit upon Christ was for special power at the beginning of His public Ministry.

Satan's intention in the temptation was to make Christ sin so as to thwart Gods plan for man's redemption by disqualifying the Savior and God's purpose (note that the sprit let Jesus to the test) was to prove His son to be sinless and thus a worthy Savior. It is clear that He was actually tempted, it is equally clear that He was sinless. Satan knew and acknowledged that He had the power to turn stones into bread. What is amazing when Jesus was tempted by Satan both were (using) quoting verses from the Bible which means the devil also knows the Bible again the devil took him up into an exceeding high mountain and shewed Him all the kingd01n of the world and the glory of them, and said unto Him all these things will be yours if you can worship me. Then Jesus said to him get out of my way Satan for it is written that you shall worship the Lord your God and Him only you shall serve. Then the devil left Him and behold the Angels come and Ministered unto Him (Matt 4: 7-11).

LIKE JOHN THE BAPTIST

Christ also preached the necessity of repentance before the Messianic Kingdom could be established. Follow me this was their call to service and illustrates the directness profundity and power of Christ commands go and love one another, and love your enemy. The gospel of the

Kingdom is the good news that the presence of the kingdom caused the rule of God on the Earth (In fulfillment of many OT prophesies to be "at hand" prerequisite for entrance into the kingdom included repentance, righteousness child like faith or in summary , being born again (John 3: 3 Because the people rejected these requirements, Christ taught that His earthly reign would not immediately come. However this gospel of the kingdom will be preached again during the

Tribulation Matt 24: 14 just prior to the return of Christ to establish His Kingdom on earth.

FORGIVENESS

Notice that the only point the Lord Emphasizing in the prayer is the necessity for forgiving one another. Forgiveness with the father depends on forgiveness among the members of the family of God. This is the forgiveness that affects fellowship within the family of God not the f01!iveness that lends to salvation.

And when you fast do not put on a sad face as the hypocrites do. They neglect their appearance so that everyone will see that they are fasting. I assure you they have already been paid in full. When you go without food wash your face and comb your hair so that others cannot know that you are fasting only your father who sees what you do in private, will reward you.

Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's kingdom. Do not fool yourselves. People who are immoral or who worship idols, are adulterers, homosexual, perverts, who steal, who are greedy, drunkards, those who slander others or are thieves none of these will possess God's

kingdom. Some of you were like that but you have been purified from sin, you have been dedicated to God, you have been put right with God by the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our Lord.

You have heard that it was said love your friends hate your enemies but now I tell you : Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so that you may become the children of your Father in Heaven.

TO THE YOUTH AND STUDENT IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

I would also like to encourage the youth, those who are currently furthering their studies even those who have a desire to further their studies to keep pressing on diligently in their studies. As we know we were all created in the image and likeness of God Almighty and we were given a mandate of dominion with the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of Heaven forward, being fruitful in it and multiply it (Genesis 1:26-28) Our purpose is to fill this world with the nature of the Kingd01n of Heaven and subdue it under the authority of Heaven who is Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior

Education will open doors for you and enable you to take the Gospel of Christ all over the world, to speak of our Savior in places that would otherwise not have been possible. The Apostle Paul through having his education submitted under the wisdom and the anointing of Jesus Christ was able to reach much larger audiences and preach the gospel in various places. He could preach Christ to both Jew and Gentile, he could reason Christ intellectually to greatest of Greek academic minds and also impart the wisdom of Christ to the most lay of Jews at the time education opens doors to the world to you so that you can fulfill your God ordained purpose which is to preach and testify to all in the world about the gospel of Christ Jesus. His love, His mercy, His peace which transcends all human understanding and His sacrifice for us all (Mark 16: 15) remember you are the salt and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16) as salt influence flavor and the taste, you are meant to influence the world to be Christ like and also who encounter you should taste the Glory of Christ through you. As light reveals what is hidden in darkness and displays what is true, so should you shine the Messiah it is a sincere prayer from my heart to the Father Almighty and the throne in Heaven that you may all be blessed in your studies.

Jesus called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all the devils and to cure diseases and He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He sent them to go house to house especially to testify mainly to the owner of the house which is the man not to leave the men behind and take the women and children and leave the men behind by doing that we are creating a lot of problems within the church. That's where we will find the church is having rituals and customs. Let us try to do things in a right way, if not we will find ourselves in the same way that made Jesus Christ to complain about the Pharisees that they are hypocrites and you do not keep His message in your hearts for you do not believe in the one whom he sent you study the scripture because you think that in them you will find eternal life. I am not looking for human praise like you but I know but I know that you have no love for God in your hearts. I have come with my fatheds authority but have not received me, when however someone come in his own naine you accept him John 5: 38 —43 please let us not be double minded we believe in one God let us be united in this sending. Let us be united and be one body of Christ Jesus by doing that all the blessings that he promised us will be successful.
